Digital Power Corporation Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

FREMONT, Calif., January 13, 2010. Digital Power Corporation (NYSE/Amex: DPW) (herein “Digital Power”) today announced the appointment of Mr. Assaf (Assi) Itshayek as CFO of the company.

Mr. Itshayek has been Vice President of Finance at Digital Power since June, 2009.

Mr. Itshayek has more than 10 years of management and operational experience in corporate finance and accounting and in public accounting. He also has overseen the financial and accounting functions of publicly traded companies.

From 2006 through 2008, Mr. Itshayek served as Corporate Controller of Metalink (NASDAQ: MTLK). Before joining Metalink, Mr. Itshayek held various positions with Deloitte, including the position of Senior Audit Manager.
