President and CEO Amos Kohn has served as a member of the Digital Power board of directors since 2003 and was appointed president and chief executive officer in June, 2008. Mr. Kohn is a seasoned executive manager with more than 20 years experience in convergence technology development, business management, corporate operations, and product management. He has an extensive background in diverse industries, including telecommunications, cable television, broadcast, and wireless platform solutions. Since 2003, Mr. Kohn also has been the CEO of TechLead, a company that provides professional and consulting services to the telecommunications, cable television, broadcast, OTT, CDN, and wireless industries. From 2006 to 2007, Mr. Kohn served as vice president of business development at Scopus Video Networks, Inc., which develops, markets, and supports digital video networking products. From 2003 to 2006, he was senior vice president of solutions engineering at ICTV Inc., a leading provider of network-based streaming media technology solutions for digital video streaming and web-driven programming. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Kohn was the Chief Architect of Liberate Technologies, which specializes in telecommunications technologies for advanced media processing located in San Carlos, California. From 1989 to 2000, Mr. Kohn served as senior vice president of engineering and technology at Golden Channel, the largest cable television multiple-systems operator (MSO) in Israel, where he held the executive responsibility for developing and implementing the entire nationwide cable TV system.Mr. Kohn holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering and is named as an inventor of several U.S. and international patents. Chief Financial Officer Assaf (Assi) Itshayek was appointed as Digital Power Corporation’s CFO in 2010. In 2009 he served as Vice President of Finance. Previously, Mr. Itshayek was the corporate controller of Metalink Ltd, a leading, provider of silicon solutions for high performance wireless and wireline broadband communication. A publicly company traded on NASDAQ (MTLK). From 1998 through 2006, he served as a Telecommunication, Media and Technology senior audit manager at Deloitte Brightman Almagor, the Israeli member firm of Deloitte. Mr. Itshayek is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration and Accountancy from the College for Management and an MBA in Financial Management, from the Tel-Aviv University. Vice President Sales and Marketing Maori Marcan was managing a consulting company for the last 1.5 years focusing on penetrating new markets. From 1998 until 2008 Mr. Marcan served as the Subsidiary president in Asia Pacific and later in the US for Nova Measuring Instruments. A Semiconductor equipment manufactures. A publicly company traded on NASDAQ (NVMI). 1994 to 1998 Asia Pacific Sales and Product Marketing at Comverse Technology, Inc. a telecommunication company . A publicly company traded on NASDAQ (CMVT). Additional previous roles included R&D Engineer, Integration and Final Control Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Engineering Manager for Orbotech Ltd, an optical inspection equipment company. Orbotech is a publicly company traded on NASDAQ (ORBK). Mr. Marcan holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering as well as a master in business management. Managing Director – Digital Power Limited (Gresham Power Electronics) Jake Moir has been serving as Managing Director of Gresham Power since 2001. Before assuming this position, he was responsible for the Gresham defense business. Mr. Moir joined NM Rothschild in 1969 and worked in both the foreign exchange and investment departments. In 1971 he moved to Hong Kong and served as Investment Manager of Hutchison GT. From 1974 through 1976, he was deputy general manager at Tai Cheung Properties, where he oversaw the company’s investment activities and was involved in various property developments in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Mr. Moir holds a MA degree in history from St. John’s College, Cambridge, UK. He has extensive training in merchant banking and a working knowledge of and experience in UK law. |
