New 300 Watt, 3U High Compact PCI Power Supplies
with Universal AC, 48 VDC or 24 VDC Input Ranges

 
Digital Power announces their new PICMG 2.11 Compliant 300 Watt 3U-High Compact PCI Power series. High power density and efficiency with a unique dual converter topology allow up to 40A to be drawn from the +3.3VDC output and 30A from the +5VDC output at +55°C operating ambient temperature.
 

The CPCI series cover either universal AC input with active power factor correction (PFC), 48VDC or 24VDC input. Features include: N+1 parallel-redundant operation; OR-ing MOSFETs to minimize heat dissipation; active single-wire current share; remote-sense; over-temperature, over-voltage and over-current protection; no minimum load; power-good signal, remote on/off control and front panel LED status indicators and full power operation with just 250 LFM airflow. The high power density of 8.99 watts/cubic inch is achieved in a design that also includes synchronous rectification; low profile magnetics and surface mount assembly. User defined options include special silkscreen/faceplates, rugged versions and conformal coating for COTS Military or harsh industrial environments. Units are approved to international safety agency approvals: UL, cUL, VDE/TUV and carry CE Mark for the LVD.
